Dear Dr. Magdy Motawie,
My self professor Amel DAKHLOUI OMRANI from the Laboratoire de physico-Chimie des Matériaux Minéraux et leurs Applications, Centre National des Recherches en Sciences des Matériaux, Technopole de Bordj Cedria ; Tunisia

My research is specially focalized on nanostructured materials. Till know I have developed different research filed such:

1/ Synthesis of nanoparticles - structural and morphologic control:
- synthesis with the polyol process under a magnetic field of anisotropic cobalt particles (nanowires , nanofibers,?)
- synthesis of nickel nanoparticles with controlled size using the polyol process
- synthesis of oxides nanopatricles (ZnO, Zn1-xMxO (M = Ni, Co)) with controlled morphology (nanowires, rod-like, spheres, ?)
2/ Consolidation of nanopowders using the Spark Plasma Sintering and Hot Isostatic Pressing processes
- optimizing the consolidation parameters to elaborate nanostructured nickel and cobalt materials with high density and a limited grain growth.
- study of the effect of particles size on the consolidation results of the nanopwders
3/ Magnetic and optical properties of nanopowders:
- magnetic properties of Ni and Co nanoparticles: effect of the size and the shape of the particles on these properties.
- magnetic properties of the Ni2+ or Co2+ substituted ZnO.
- Uv- Vis and Photoluminescence properties of the oxides nanopatricles (ZnO, Zn1-xMxO (M = Ni, Co))
4/ Mechanical properties of dense nanostructured materials
- Uniaxial compressive and Hardness Vickers tests realized on the nanostructured nickel and cobalt materials : effect of the consolidation parameters, the grain growth and the mechanical test parameters on the mechanical properties of the as-elaborated nanostructured materials.
5/ Hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure and characterization of hybrid phosphate materials:
- synthesis using the hydrothermal method of single crystals of organic-inorganic phosphate materials
- thermal analysis and spectroscopic studies,
- structure determination by single crystal X-ray diffraction of the as-elaborated metal hydrogen phosphates templated with different organic cations

Here I am working on the growth and optimization of ZnO nanostructures using a soft chemical method for its application in semiconducting gas sensors, photocatalyst and optoelectronic applications....

It is my great pleasure to ask you for promoting joint research cooperation

Anticipating your reply with my best wishes and kinds personal regards

sincerely yours;

Prof. A. DAKHLAOUI OMRANI
